Sabres camp will have four less players than it did yesterday.
Buffalo has made its first cuts of the season, sending Giorgio Estephan, Vaclav Karabacek, Brycen Martin and Devante Stephens back to their respective junior squads. None of the cuts are a surprise, as none of the players were expected to make the NHL roster. All of the players are under 18-years-old, so they are not eligible for the AHL.
The biggest name on the list is likely Karabacek, a second-round pick in last year's draft. He returns to a Baie-Comeau Drakkar team that he was traded to last season.
