The Buffalo Sabres continue to make changes to their roster. Today they claimed winger Remi Elie off waivers from the Dallas Stars.
Elie is a 23-year-old forward that was a second-round pick of the Stars back in 2013.
He scored six goals and 14 points in 72 games with the Stars last season. Elie has played a total of 90 NHL games over two seasons.
Elie has one more year remaining on his contract with a $735 thousand cap hit. He becomes a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
