Rochester Americans forwards Cole Schneider and Evan Rodrigues have both been called up by the Buffalo Sabres for at least one of the two remaining games of the season.
Schneider is a Williamsville NY native in the fifth year of his professional career. The player came over from the Binghampton Senators in a seven player trade at the recently-concluded trade deadline. He has been assigned the number 10 jersey for the Sabres.
The winger uses his size (6'1", 198 lbs) to his advantage, getting to the puck in the dirty areas, and leads the Amerks in scoring.
