According to his agent, Lukáš Rousek has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres.
Rousek was drafted the Sabres with the 160th overall selection in the 2019 NHL Draft. The 22-year-old winger appeared in 49 regular season games with HC Sparta Praha this season, accruing 14 goals and 24 assists. He also put up seven points (2-5) in 11 playoff games.
According to The Athletic’s John Vogl, Rousek is not likely to join the AHL’s Rochester Americans, but at this point, signing his entry-level contract means he’s probably come to Buffalo for offseason training in the summer and go from there.
