NOW THAT OKPOSO HAS SIGNED, WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE SABRES?

Tim Murray's phone rang as he stood at the podium to discuss the first day of free agency at First Niagara Center on Friday evening. He had just finished talking about the quality of player the Sabres had gotten earlier the day in forward Kyle Okposo, who'd signed a seven-year deal.

"There's another one," Murray said as he reached for the phone. "It is another one, too."

The work may not yet be done for the Sabres general manager, but the hardest part may very well be. Buffalo caught its big fish in Okposo, the forward who ranked at the top of their free agent wish list once Steven Stamkos agreed to remain in Tampa Bay for eight more years on Wednesday.
