With Jack Eichel as the face and future of the Buffalo Sabres, what does that mean for us? It means a few things:

1. He’s Buffalo’s next hero, idol, poster child, and ambassador
2. He’s the NHL’s next unsung/ignored hero

We all know it here in 716 that Jack Eichel is our savior; he is our newest Jim Kelly or Gilbert Perrault in the making. And honestly, I don’t really care if the NHL or NBCSN appreciates it or not; they can’t realize awesome when it slaps them in the face! They are more concerned about making Cindy in Pittsburgh, Matthews in Toronto and McDavid is Edmonton superstars for America.
