Evander Kane out 4-6 weeks with an MCL injury

The Sabres winger was hit in the corner during the Devils game on Saturday.

Evander Kane will be out at least a month with an MCL injury said Sabres head coach Dan Bylsma. The Sabres called up Tim Schaller earlier today to fill his spot in the lineup.

Kane took a hit in the middle of the third period while going into the corner from David Schlemko. He immediately went down and needed assistance from the trainers to get off the ice. He skated to the locker room, but didn't put much weight on his left leg.
