The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, will face 13 different ECHL teams over the course of the 2016-17 season.
The Jackals, along with the ECHL, have announced their schedule for next season, which includes games against opponents such as Quad City, Fort Wayne and Atlanta.
The Elmira Jackals will face 10 of 13 Eastern Conference opponents next season. They won’t face Toledo, Orlando or Greenville.
A solid portion of the Jackals’ season will see them face three teams: the Manchester Monarchs, the Adirondack Thunder, or the Reading Royals. They’ll play a total of 34 games against those teams, with 14 against Manchester alone.
