We’re into that time of the year where there’s simply no Buffalo Sabres news as everyone’s away enjoying their summer breaks.
Three Sabres prospects took part in the World Juniors that ended last weekend - Isak Rosen, Linus Sjodin and Jiri Kulich - with varying degrees of success. Both Czech Republic and Sweden made it to the semi-finals where they lost to eventual winners Canada and Finland respectively.
Kulich had a couple of assists in the semis, while both Rosen and Sjodin found the net as Sweden beat the Czech in the 3rd place playoff.
