Former NHL defenseman Nick Boynton pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct for a drunken tirade at a Buffalo-area casino, where he bit a police officer in late March. This is from a report in the Buffalo News.
Per the report, Boynton agreed to perform 100 hours of community service and keep with an alcohol counseling program. He is not allowed to enter the casino for a year. The 36-year-old Boynton was with the Arizona Coyotes as a radio analyst for their March 26 game at the Sabres. He was swiftly placed on a leave of absence by Arizona shortly after the events occurred.
