One year ago today, the Buffalo sports landscape became united like never before. Terry and Kim Pegula were unanimously approved to assume ownership of the Buffalo Bills, solidifying the franchise’s long-term future in Western New York. The Pegulas then became owners of both major professional sports franchises in Buffalo.
A few days later, on Oct. 12, 2014, the One Buffalo initiative was launched prior to the Pegula family’s first home game as Bills owners. It has since become a rallying cry, pronouncing civic pride.
