As Buffalo Sabres management held its end-of-season press conference, we found out at least one valuable bit of information: the team will not buyout forward Matt Moulson.
Moulson earned $6 million this season and has three years left on his contract.
He’ll earn $5 million in each of the next two seasons, then earn $3 million in the 2018-19 season before becoming an unrestricted free agent.
Although many were likely wondering if the Buffalo Sabres would buy him out, general manager Tim Murray squashed any possibility of that.
GM Murray @BuffaloSabres Matt Moulson will not be considered for a buyout.
