While February 23 was a busy day in the trade world for the Buffalo Sabres, the next day wasn’t quite so busy.
In fact, only one trade happened in the entire NHL on February 24.
That deal saw the Vancouver Canucks acquire the rights to defenseman Philip Larsen from the Edmonton Oilers.
In exchange, the Oilers picked up a fifth-round draft pick in 2017.
There’s just a few more days until the NHL trade deadline on February 29 (3 p.m.) and Buffalo Sabres GM Tim Murray still has a lot of work to do.
