A pair of Buffalo Sabres prospects have been invited by their respective countries to attend camps ahead of the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championships.
Vaclav Karabacek has been named to the preliminary roster for the Czech Republic, while William Borgen has been named to the preliminary roster for the United States.
The 2016 IIHF World Junior Championships are being held in Helsinki, Finland between December 26, 2015 and January 5, 2016 at Hartwall Arena and Helsinki Ice Hall.
In total, 34 players were named to the preliminary roster for the Czechs, so it’ll be a tough battle for those players before cuts are made and final rosters named.
