Team USA, including Buffalo Sabres prospect Will Borgen, has won the bronze medal at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championships with a decisive 8-3 win over Sweden on Tuesday morning.
The United States fell to Russia by a score of 2-1 on Monday, which pushed them into the bronze medal game. Sweden fell to Finland on Monday.
The United States came out strong in the bronze medal game, taking an early 2-0 lead thanks to Anders Bjork and Matthew Tkachuk.
Team USA faltered late in the first, allowing the Swedes to tie it up on tallies by William Lagesson and Carl Grundstrom.
