Buffalo’s newest players hit the ice with the Sabres for the first time Thursday.

Just days after signing highly-tuted prospects Hudson Fasching and Casey Nelson, fresh off of their hockey careers with the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Minnesota State University Mavericks, the Buffalo Sabres welcomed the young pair to practice Thursday morning for the first time.
Fasching wound up splitting time with Cal O’Reilly on a line with Matt Moulson and David Legwand, for those of you who are curious.
