A pair of Buffalo Sabres players will suit up to represent USA Hockey next month at the World Championships.
Defenseman Jake McCabe and forward Hudson Fasching were both named to Team USA for the tournament, which begins next month in Russia.
Both players already have a history with the USA Hockey program, making their selections for the upcoming tournament natural choices.
McCabe played for the U.S. national U-18 and U-17 teams as well as the US National Development Team before joining the University of Wisconsin.
He also captained the gold-medal winning US team at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championships in Russia, and won gold at the 2011 IIHF U-18 World Championships.
