The Buffalo Sabres have put 77 shots on goal compared to the 49 they’re opponents have through two games.
To be honest, that stat doesn’t do the Sabres complete justice for how well they’ve played.
In Game 2 against the New Jersey Devils, Buffalo came out with a similar game plan to game one. Attack the Devils territory early and often and, if you think you have a shot to take, take it.
With that plan Buffalo was able to keep the puck mostly in New Jersey territory and kept the pressure off of Carter Hutton.
