The Buffalo Sabres have recalled defender Lawrence Pilut to Buffalo for the first time this season. Pilut has spent the early parts of 2019-20 recovering from a lower body injury and recently has played in the AHL with the Rochester Americans.
In 8 games with the Americans, Pilut has 1 goal and 5 assists with a plus minus of 2. Defensively, Pilut has looked very good in the AHL. That is partially to be expected after spending a season in the NHL last year, but it’s still good to see the young prospect hasn’t seemed to regress following his injury.
