Jimmy Vesey is considered week to week after suffering an upper body injury against his former team, the New York Rangers. The Buffalo Sabres will be evaluating Vesey weekly due to his status, but the early reports are that the injury isn’t major and he should be expected back within 1 to 2 weeks. There is no official word of what the injury is, but Vesey did take a hit to the shoulder before exiting the game.
Until Vesey can return, Evan Rodrigues will be taking his place on the Sabres fourth line with Conor Sheary and Casey Mittelstadt.
