Last season when the Buffalo Sabres were in the midst of their 10 game win streak, Jeff Skinner was leading the league in goals and playing like an MVP. While at the time it was great to see, as a cynical Sabres fan you were left asking “how long can this guy keep it up”. Well if you thought 2019-20 was going to be when Skinner cooled down, you were sadly mistaken.
Skinner has 7 goals already just 13 games into this season. The former Carolina Hurricane just has a knack for finding himself in scoring positions near the net, and finishes as good as anyone in the league.
