The Buffalo Sabres are in search of a head coach. Oh wait, that isn’t news? Did you also know they were looking for a coach for their top affiliate in the American Hockey League as well?
The Buffalo Sabres relieved head coach Chadd Cassidy back on May 1st – and there haven’t been many rumblings about who will be taking over for Cassidy in developing talent and fostering a winning atmosphere for the Americans.
Cassidy was the only remaining coach from the Darcy Regier era remaining on the staff. He came in a package deal that brought Ron Rolston over from Hockey USA to the Rochester Americans.
