The future of the Buffalo Sabres is shaping more and more into place every day.
Monday, the move that shifted the future roster of the team was Tim Murray’s decision to play forward Cody Hodgson on waivers for the purpose of buying out his contract.
It wasn’t a surprising move, as speculation had been that Murray would make that move. It wasn’t until Tuesday, however, close to the deadline for placing players on waivers for such purposes, that the speculation became reality.
