Yesterday was a wild day for the Buffalo Sabres. We started out with a change in leadership at the top of the hockey department with Jason Botterill being relieved of his duties and Kevyn Adams stepping in as the new general manager. The Pegulas gave us some more interesting comments during their video press conference to introduce their fourth general manager in their tenure as owners.
All of this is may be overshadowed by the clearing of the decks of the hockey department. When all was said and done yesterday, roughly 30 people were let go, according to reports.
