Friday night, the Rochester Americans hosted the Philadelphia Flyers’ AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, for an Eastern Conference showdown. The affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres managed to slug out a 5-4 shootout victory in what was a rebound win from a tough loss to the Utica Comets earlier in the week.
