PHILADELPHIA, PA – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team sent five players to the ITA Northeast Regionals, which got underway on Thursday at the University of Pennsylvania. The five players are the most that Buffalo has sent to the ITA Regionals under head coach Kristen Maines as UB placed four in the singles field, while also putting two doubles teams into the field.
Senior Tanja Stojanovska was placed in the 17-32 ranking and she received a first-round bye in the singles main draw. Junior Chantal Martinez Blanco was also placed in the 17-32 seeding, and she too has a first-round bye.
