MUNCIE, IN – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team won its 13th straight match on Saturday as the Bulls advanced to the Mid-American Conference Championship match with a 4-1 win over Bowling Green in the MAC Semifinals. The Bulls will play for the title on Sunday at 12pm as they go for their second straight tournament crown.
The Bulls had to come back from an early deficit as the fourth-seeded Falcons overcame an early deficit to win the doubles point. Buffalo won easily at first doubles as Chantal Martinez Blanco and Lolade Ogungbesan scored a 6-2 win, but the Falcons then won 6-3 at three, setting up a decisive match at two.
