The UB Women’s Basketball team could not slow down the Central Michigan offense in the second half, and suffered their first MAC loss, 79–63. Their record is now 7–3 and 4–1 in the MAC.
The Bulls were close at halftime, trailing by only 5, as the Chippewa’s trademark three point shooting was poor, shooting 4-for-18 from downtown. CMU came into the game leading the nation in the made three point shots and in the top 10 in three point field goal percentage. The Bulls, on the other hand, shot very well from three point land at the start of the game, shooting 4-for-8 in the first quarter, and then 0-for-6 in the second quarter.
