CAYMAN ISLANDS - The University at Buffalo men's basketball team outscored South Dakota State 56-48 in the second half, but the Jackrabbits shot nearly 61% for the game as the Bulls fell, 94-80, in the final game of the Cayman Classic. The Bulls will return to Western New York with a 3-2 record.
Playing its third game in three days, the Bulls looked a step slow defensively, as South Dakota State built a 22-point halftime lead. The Bulls shot just 26.5% from the field during the first 20 minutes, while the Jackrabbits shot 58.6%. South Dakota State led 46-24 at the break.
