BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's basketball team (1-0, 0-0 MAC) opened up their 2017-18 campaign in impressive fashion as they were able to run past the Delaware Blue Hens on Friday afternoon at Alumni Arena in front of 1,015 fans by the score of 87-73. The 87 points scored by the UB offense are the most points scored in a game since March 11, 2016 when UB beat Akron in the MAC semifinals, 88-87.
The difference in the game on Friday was the transition scoring in favor of the Bulls as they were able to hold the commanding 17-0 edge in fast break scoring on the day.
