Training camp started today for Lance Leipold’s Bulls but there will be a new face joining the team in graduate transfer defensive tackle Remaine Douglas. Douglas earned 3 letters at Louisiana Lafayette under head coach Mark Hudspeth, appearing in 32 games in his career.
Douglas is listed at 6-3, 303 pounds, making him an immediate fit in the Buffalo defensive tackle rotation. Douglas had 13 tackles and 2 for loss last season, both career highs, for the Ragin’ Cajuns after missing the final 7 games of the 2014 season due to injury.
Douglas isn’t a flashy player by any means and won’t blow up the stat sheet but with his size and experience he can be a productive member of the Buffalo defensive line.
