BUFFALO, NY – Three former University at Buffalo football players have made Alliance of American Football rosters. Branden Oliver, John Kling and Matt Weiser will all play in the newly created professional football league.
Oliver will play for the Salt Lake Stallions. After a standout collegiate career, Buffalo's all-time leading rusher played four seasons for the San Deigo/Los Angeles Chargers. He rushed for 773 yards and three touchdowns and added 409 receiving yards and a score in his time with the Chargers.
Kling will play for the Atlanta Legends. The offensive lineman played for the Bulls from 2011-15 and was a second-team All-MAC selection in 2015.
