There are going to be between 79 and 83 Bowl eligible teams. Using my fingers and toes I see that UB needs to be picked over 1-4 of these teams.
So which 6-6 teams are poorer bowl Candidates than UB? Well near the top of that list would be UTSA.
As a program UTSA has a ton going for it. San Antonio is a beautiful city and they have great facilities. In the interest of full disclosure my Brother is a UTSA Alum so I am slightly biased in their favor most of the time.
But this season their offense has been awful, and that’s before they dumped their offensive coordinator.
