Swimming & Diving Claim Second Place at Zippy Invite, Shatter Four School Records

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo swimming and diving team took home a second place overall finish at the 2018 Zippy Invitational, as the Bulls left Akron with three individual victories on a weekend that saw four program records being broken.

The Bulls placed second overall with a team score of 1422, topping third place Oakland University by 191 points and fourth place school, and MAC foe, Bowling Green by 282 points. Akron was able to claim victory in the invitational, winning it for the fifth-consecutive time.

After the Bulls 400 yard medley team of sophomore Nicole Roitenberg, junior Anna Vitolins, junior Andrea Ernst and junior Katelyn Burns broke the school record in the event with a time of 3:41.
