BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo Track and Field Associate Head Coach Steve Esler has been named team USA coach for the men's decathlon at the Pan American Combined Events Cup. Esler was selected by the USATF to lead the men's decathletes at the Pan American Combined Events Cup which will be held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada from June 17-18.
"This is my first USA Track and Field Coaching position and a great opportunity to gain experience and knowledge at an international level," stated Steve Esler. "The Pan American Coaching Staff has assembled an extremely competitive group of decathletes and heptathletes from around the United States to compete against some of the world's best combined event athletes.
