St. Bonaventure Gets Past Buffalo, 6-1

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo baseball team dropped their third straight game on Wednesday afternoon at Amherst Audobon Field to Big 4 foe St. Bonaventure by the score of 6-1. With the loss, the Bulls fall to 12-24 overall and 5-10 in MAC play while also falling to 1-16 on the year when scoring two runs or less.

After Brandon Mumaw got out of a two runner on jam in the first inning, the Bulls offense jumped out quick on St. Bonaventure starting pitcher Aaron Phillips. Mike Abrunzo started the rally as he earned his MAC-leading 30th walk of the season before Vinny Mallaro hit a sharp single to right center field and Andrew Taft was hit by a pitch to load the bases for the Bulls.
