April 29, 2019 Freshman Pia Schwarz was named to the All-Tournament team at the MAC Championships this past week. Schwarz won her first singles match on Friday in a 5-0 win over Western Michigan. She won 6-2, 2-6, 6-0 at second singles against Denise Azcui of WMU. On Saturday, Schwarz was lone Bull to win her first set in the MAC semifinals at Akron as she raced out to a 6-0 win in the opening set against Miruna Vasilescu. She was tied 3-3 in the third when play was stopped.
