Roitenberg And Johnson Named Athletes Of The Week

Sophomore Nicole Roitenberg broke three school records this past weekend at the Zippy Invite, including two in individual events. She joined Anna Vitolins, Andrea Ernst, and Katelyn Burns broke the school record in the 400-yard medley with a time of 3:41.17. Individually, Roitenberg would see another program record fall on Saturday afternoon as she collected a third place finish in the 100 backstroke event with a time of 53.97, surpassing the former best time of 54.19 set by Julia Box in 2017. On Sunday, Roitenberg would shatter a third school record on the Weekend, as she re-broke the program-best time in the 200 yard backstroke she set in 2017, claiming third place in the race with a time of 1.
