No. 14 Buffalo Bulls Men’s Basketball received their first loss of the season on Friday night when No. 20 Marquette rained from deep to claim a 103-85 win.
UB started the game off by doing a lot of things right as they hit a bunch of big shots and played really good defense; however, Marquette still managed to lead at the end of the half thanks to a huge scoring run.
The difference in the second half that blew the game wide open was a combination of two things: UB couldn’t get a lot of layups to fall down low and a guy named Markus Howard.
