Over the course of this season, low-scoring defensive battles have generally broken UB Women's Basketball's way. All the better when you take one of those games at half and throw a 23-8 Buffalo advantage in the third quarter on top of it.
The Bulls avoided foul trouble, Brittany Morrison was effective in her first career start, and Karin Moss did a little bit of everything in UB's 58-39 win.
Joanna Smith and Cassie Oursler led Buffalo, combining for 35 points, but it was Morrison (7 points, 9 rebounds) and Moss (7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists) who stepped up for the secondary production UB has so badly needed this season.
