Men’s Tennis Recognized By NCAA For Academic Performance

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's tennis team was honored on Thursday with a NCAA Public Recognition Award for outstanding academic performance. This is the first time the Bulls have earned this recognition under head coach Lee Nickell.

"When I came to Buffalo it was my goal to make sure that our 4-year APR was 1000," stated head coach Lee Nickell. "I truly appreciate the atmosphere our athletic department and University give to our student-athletes that endures retention in our program."

Teams are recognized by the NCAA for posting Academic Progress Rate scores that are in the top 10 percent of its individual sport for the 2014-15 academic year.
