CAMBRIDGE, MA – The defending Mid-American Conference champion men's tennis team faced some stiff competition in their opening weekend of 2017-18 as the Bulls traveled to the Harvard Chowder Fest and faced opponents from Harvard, Wisconsin, and Notre Dame.
On the opening day of competition, junior Ethan Nittolo and sophomore Hao Sheng Koay picked up a doubles victory, 8-5, against Christopher Morrow and Michael Peters of Harvard. UB won just one match in singles on the first day as sophomore Konstantinos Tsakiris grabbed a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 victory over Sam Beren of Harvard.
