BUFFALO, NY – Playing in one of the toughest regions in the country, the University at Buffalo men's tennis team finished the year ranked eighth in the Northeast Region, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced late Wednesday.
The Bulls went 14-6 on the season, winning the Mid-American Conference with a perfect 7-0 record, while also winning both of their matches during the conference tournament. Of UB's six losses, five came to Ivy League teams that were ranked in the top six in the region and the sixth came against Texas A&M, who finished fourth in their region.
