Joe Kuta earned his fourth straight clean sheet to start the season, a new program record, and Russell Cicerone notched his nation-leading 7th goal in the Men’s Soccer’s 1-0 matinee victory over Incarnate Word.
Stu Riddle’s team only outshot IW 13-10 over the course of the match, and both teams only managed to put 2 shots on net a piece. Both teams went back-and-forth for much of the first half with Buffalo earning the first 3 shots coming from newcomers Tommy Fogarty-Cameron, Rikard Lindqvist and Cicerone.
After not entering the Stony Brook match until the 87th minute, Fogarty-Cameron took advantage of the start against the Cardinals.
