BUFFALO, NY - Senior Megan Burns of the University at Buffalo women's swimming & diving team was named Mid-American Conference Co-Swimmer/Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Thursday. This marks the first time Burns has earned the weekly recognition this season.
Burns carried over her domination in the water from a season ago into the first competition of the 2017-18 campaign as the senior was able to collect four first-place finishes at the FIU Fall Classic. Burns shined to open the season as she was able to earn victories in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and 400 free relay.
