Kling Signs with Bears; Licata and Weiser Earn Tryouts

BUFFALO, NY – Although the University at Buffalo football team had its three-year streak of having a player selected in the NFL Draft snapped, three Bulls will still have a shot to make an NFL team. John Kling was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chicago Bears and Joe Licata and Matt Weiser earned minicamp invites to the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins, respectively.

Kling was the anchor of UB's offensive line. He started all 12 games at left tackle for the Bulls in 2015. He helped pave the way for an offense that rushed for 1,643 yards and passed for 2,994 yards on the season.
