PITTSBURGH, PA – University at Buffalo wrestlers Troy Keller and Brett Perry each dropped their opening match in the consolation bracket on Friday at the NCAA Championships, bringing an end to their championship runs.
Keller faced Ohio State's Te'Shan Campbell who was seeded 21st at 165 lbs. After taking a shot, Keller got caught in a tough position and Campbell was able to pin the Bulls' junior at the 1:10 mark of the first period.
At 197 lbs., Perry went up against Josh Hokit of Fresno State, the 16th seed.
