BUFFALO, NY - For the first time in her Buffalo career, senior guard Katherine Ups was named Mid-American Conference Scholar Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. Ups helped lead the Bulls to their first ever Sweet 16 while also maintaining a 3.923 GPA while studying biomedical sciences.
Senior Katherine Ups helped lead the Bulls to the best season in school history, capped off with the school's first ever appearance in the Sweet 16. Ups started all three games in the NCAA Tournament, including in 20-point wins over South Florida and Florida State.
