Last December, Lance Leipold and crew brought in a JUCO commitment from Linebacker Khalil Hodge. After five months of being committed to the program, Hodge — who will be a key piece in replacing the now graduated Nick Gilbo — has helped the coaching staff rope in another commitment.
This past weekend, JUCO Cornerback Tatum Slack took an official visit to the University at Buffalo and shortly afterwards he committed to the program. Slack cited Hodge as his host for the weekend when he spoke to Scout.com and the two connected enough to the point of Slack feeling comfortable about choosing Buffalo.
