BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo men's soccer junior goalkeeper Joseph Kuta has been named Mid-American Conference Male Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Wednesday afternoon.
An economics major with a 3.936 GPA, Kuta has put together the best start to a season in program history for a goalkeeper as he owns a perfect 4-0 record to go along with four cleansheets. He currently owns a career-best shutout streak of 360 minutes while also leading the NCAA with four shutouts as the Bulls are the only 4-0 team with four shutouts in the country.
